Aum Arts conducts regular batches from Prarambhik to Vishrad
and the students get the degree from Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mandal,
Mumbai, India.

It conducts Summer Workshops in May/Jun and Winter Workshop in Nov/Dec
every year since 1995. Residential accommodation is provided on first come
first serve basis.

Aum Arts conducted more than 100 Seminars, Lectures & Demonstrations in
schools and colleges for development of classical dance and enrich
knowledge of students about Indian heritage and culture.

Documentary was prepared on shortage of water and saving of water in
collaboration with Saurastra Lok Munch Trust for creating awareness
in rural are of India. Documentary was shown in southern and eastern part
of India and widely appreciated by people of rural India in 1997.

Aum Arts also organised stage performances and theme based dance ballets
for charity purpose for earthquake victims of Bhuj, Gujarat, India in
2001.

Organised Programme on 29th April 2002 to observed ‘World Dance Day’ and
invited Guru Shri Ravindra Attibudhi (Mumbai, India) for programme and for
Summer workshop of 15 Days from 28th April to 12th May 2002.

Ms. Dhairavi Anjariya student of Aum Arts Dance Academy got the first
prize in state youth competition held at Rajkot and selected to represent
Gujarat state in Rastriya Yuva Utsav which is organized from 12th
Jan 2002 to 16th Jan 2002 at Hisar of Hariyana, India.

Aum Arts Dance Academy performed at Balashram Pobandar, India in the
Diamond jubilee celebration, 2003.

Ms Aparna Chandarana, one of the students of AUM Arts Dance Academy became
the first Odissi dancer to get the Kal ke Kalakar Award in 2004
organised by Gujarat sangget Natak Academy and she also represented
Gujarat in Rastriya Yuva Mahotsav-2004 at Jamsedpur.
- A rare combination of Performer, Teacher, Writer and Choreographer
A renowned exponent of Odissi dance, one of the
seven classical dance styles of India, Suprava Mishra combines tradition
with innovation, classicism with creativity and the ethnic with the
contemporary.
Suprava Mishra has been learning Odissi dance
from the age of 7. After the initial training from Guru Shri Raghunath Datta
and Guru Shri Harihara Mohanty, she has taken advanced training from Padma
Vibhusana Shri Kelucharan Mohapatra and Guru Shri Gangadhar Pradhan. She has
been awarded Visharad in Odissi dance from Gandharva Mahavidyalaya
Mandal,Mumbai, India and has given a number of performances all over India.
She is equally adept at tandava, lasya and abhinaya.
In 1995, Suprava opened her own institution, Aum
Arts Dance Academy, where she teaches her students the various styles of
Odissi dance according to Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mandal syllabus. Aum
Arts has already given several successful performances which are highly
appreciated by both press and public.
Suprava also has an excellent academic record,
with a M.S.C in Physics and M.B.A. in Marketing. At present she is working
at Rajkot Telecommunication network, India.
